Empowering Parish and Town Councils in Northamptonshire

Kislingbury's Got A Plan!

Kislingbury's Got A Plan!

Driving or walking through Kislingbury in Northamptonshire is an interesting experience at the moment. There are signs everywhere advertising the Neighbourhood Plan consultation, which started on 26 October 2015.

The boards say

"Kislingbury Parish - Neighbourhood Development Plan"

"Consultation period October 26th to December 11th"

"For more information visit village hall or www.kislingburyonline.co.uk/plan2014_index.php"

The web site says that "a Member of the Steering Group will be at the Village Hall each Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to answer question about the Neighbourhood Plan starting Wednesday October 28th and ending Wednesday December 9th 2015."

Well done Kislingbury for the excellent community engagement! There surely can't be anyone in the community, which has a population of around 1,400, that could say "We didn't know it was happening"!

Neighbourhood Plans for Earls Barton and Duston in Northamptonshire passed referendum in the past two weeks, so the pipeline is at last starting to splurge!
