Places are filling up fast for the Northants CALC AGM to be held on Saturday 8 October 2016 from 10:00 - 13:00.

A so called "Community Right of Appeal" will be debated in parliament on Tuesday 3 May 2016.
The right would allow parish and town councils (and designated Neighbourhood Forums in non-parished areas) the right to appeal planning decisions under certain circumstances.

The Transparency Fund for parish councils with a turnover of less than £25,000 has awarded grants worth £514,000 to date.
755 grants have been approved with a further 200 expected to be approved in early February.
34 parish councils in Northamptonshire have received a grant so far totalling £19,340.34.
