Have you ever thought of becoming a parish clerk? It can be a rewarding, fulfilling role that makes a real contribution to community life.
Small parish councils employ a clerk for as little as a few hours per week working on their own, whereas larger parish and town councils have full time clerks and other staff besides. There's a council to suit you, whatever number of hours you want to work.

It's a great time of the year to be a communitarian, which the vast majority of parish councillors and clerks are. It's a time of year when we remember why we do what we do on parish councils - making our communities better places in which to live and work.
