Is your Council thinking of applying for grant funding? Don't know where to start with writing a bid/submitting an application? Then this is the perfect course for you.
Through this session we will demystify the jargon surrounding the grant funding process and enable councils to successfully bid for and receive grant funding. We will look at community funding, the sorts of money available to Town and Parish Councils, what projects are eligible and how much funding is available.
We will take an in-depth look at the funding application forms and how to complete them, including the 3 main lottery funds (sports, heritage and community); a typical landfill tax funding and Awards for All.
Following this session, all Councils present will be in a position to successfully bid for up to £10,000 from Awards for All. And whilst acknowledging that bidding for the larger grants (£50,000+ from the other funders) will take a lot more work, they are still well within the reach of Parish & Town Councils.
